Netflix announced via Twitter today the voice cast for Masters of the Universe: Revelation and it is nothing short of jaw-dropping. There are some heavy Hollywood hitters in this cast and every single one on the list is a talent. The one that made us scream, however, was Mark Hamill who will be playing Skeletor! <insert fan screaming here> We’ve heard Mark Hamill’s voice over chops many times, most notably as the Joker in Batman: The Animated Series. Kevin Smith is serving as showrunner and executive producer on the series and he’s obviously off to a wonderful start. In addition to Hamill, the Masters of the Universe: Revelation cast includes:

Lena Headey as Evil-Lyn
Chris Wood as Prince Adam/He-Man
Sarah Michelle Gellar as Teela
Liam Cunningham as Man-At-Arms
Stephen Root as Cringer
Diedrich Bader as King Randor/Trap Jaw
Griffin Newman as Orko
Tiffany Smith as Andra
Henry Rollins as Tri-Klops
Alan Oppenheimer as Moss Man
Susan Eisenberg  as Sorceress
Alicia Silverstone as Queen Marlena
Justin Long as Roboto
Jason Mewes as Stinkor
Phil LaMarr as Priestess
Kevin Michael Richardson as Beast Man
Kevin Conroy as Mer-Man
Harley Quinn Smith as Ileena

Stunning! What an interesting, talented group of artists. From Lena Heady to Henry Rollins to Stephen Root to Tiffany Smith to Sarah Michelle Gellar to Phil LaMarr to Kevin Smith’s own daughter Harley Quinn Smith, this has now become an even more highly anticipated project.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation is not a reboot of the original animated show from long, long ago. It will actually pick up on storylines from the original franchise. Think of it as a sequel.
