Let’s get down to the basics of Needle Sleep by the creator, Paper Ghost. At its core, Needle Sleep is a horror-adventure game with light puzzle elements. The controls are intuitive and tight, with a unique light mechanic that leads you to advance through the hospital ward.

Needle Sleep toes the line between a psychological thriller and monster horror. As players navigate the darkened halls, they must decide if the monster stalking them is real or a reaction to the anesthesia. But what will that answer cost you?
Why Should I Play?
So why should you play Needle Sleep? This short, atmospheric horror game is an interesting and fun single shot that fits perfectly into a busy weeknight. The light puzzle aspects are engaging and support a unique, non-linear guide system that leads players through the dark with breadcrumbs of light.

There are some light jump scares in the game from the monster, but the setting does most of the heavy lifting for the horror elements. The music and soundscaping combine for a spine-chilling tone that drives the tense pace. The game can be finished in about 15 minutes and is a current submission for Themed Horror Game Jam #20 for the theme “Realm of Nightmares”.
