Finally, we have some more Mulan casting news from Disney! According to THR, Chinese-American actor Jason Lee Scott will be joining the live-action adaptation. The actor best known for his role in Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (as the legendary Lee) will be bringing his talents once again to Disney. This will mark his third outing for the Mouse House and first live-action role for them.

So who is he playing? Well according to THR, he’ll be playing a warrior bent on revenge. Bori Khan will be scouring the lands, attempting to avenge his father’s death. That path will led him to our heroine. Will he be teaming up with Gong Li‘s witch? We don’t know but will be highly anticipating as more news comes out.  With his casting, we may be looking at our complete main character list. And with that, I’m excited. As for his character Khan, I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with him. I rather hope it’s not a straight revenge plot where he just kills everyone. (I’m a big fan of rounded characters). Also, I’m rather curious if they’re going to be adding anymore villains. It seems like two isn’t enough for the amount of good guys we’ll be focusing on. As a personal note, I’m extremely glad they’ve kept the cast Chinese. It’s a Chinese story after all.
