Morgana and Oz
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, we couldn’t help but chat about romance series this week. First, we have Morgana and Oz by Miyuli! The series follows Morgana, a struggling witch from a long line of prodigies and Oz, an angsty vampire from the rival clan. The two find themselves in each other’s company after a few chance encounters and a couple of stray spells. It isn’t all hearts and butterflies, but the two need to find a way to work together or risk an all-out war between coven and clan.
Not all romances start off with insta-love. Some start with a witch who can barely control her powers coming into contact with an angsty vampire who blames her and her family for nearly killing him and his family. Morgana and Oz mixes romance with the supernatural as these two constantly find themselves thrown together and fighting to help save their families. The banter between the two is superb and all of the side plots and characters are investing—a perfect read for those who love paranormal romances.

LMLY
Our second romance WEBTOON series this week is LMLY by edbe! Leon has had a crush on Sofia for a long time but chose never to act on it. So it was almost fate that the two of them would be partnered up for a school project. Talk about spending some quality time with your crush! Leon just has to make sure he doesn’t make things too awkward! But if that wasn’t enough, she proposes a deal to him that will push them even closer than they ever expected. But can Leon keep things business? Or will love bloom between the two?
If you are looking for more of a cute romance to binge this Valentine’s Day, LMLY is perfect for you! I’m a sucker for the fake dating trope when it is well written and this series meets that requirement and then some. Leon and Sofia’s cute moments make my heart happy and it just feels like a warm hug whenever I read them. Plus, we love Sofia in this house! Anyone coming for her or her fake boyfriend Leon has to get through us first! But seriously, this is the perfect series to binge to celebrate the holiday of love.
