Remember that show Firefly? I mean, you do, right? It played on Fox about ten years ago until the studio lost track of what made good television and then they chopped it?
Well, if you remember that show, then you definitely remember Morena Baccarin! Well, good news for her fans; in an article from Deadline, it’s been reported that she will be returning to Fox as she has been cast in Gotham as Dr. Leslie Thompkins! She’ll definitely have a recurring role in Season one that could extend to Season Two.
According to the article, “Dr. Leslie Thompkins, a gifted and dedicated physician who was a friend of Bruce Wayne’s parents, Thomas and Martha. She is determined to use her skills to aid Gotham’s most in need, which currently means working at the newly opened Arkham Asylum’s Home for the Criminally Insane. In addition to her medical skills, her coolness under pressure will serve her well as she finds herself drawn close to James Gordon and into more and more dangerous waters.”
