Disney and Lucas Films have dropped a new TV spot teaser for The Mandalorian season two. And while it lacks a bit on shots of The Child, it is still amazing. The second season of the highly popular Star Wars spin-off is set to release later this month. Season one ended as Mando (Pedro Pascal) and The Child set off into the galaxy to find the young ward’s true home. The official trailer gives us a few ideas going into season two. The biggest is that we will be dealing with Jedi and possibly learning more about the Darksaber.

The tv spot for The Mandalorian season two opens with one of the final seens from season one. We see Moff Gideon (Carlos Esposito) using the Darksaber to cut himself out of his destroyed tie fighter. Through his monologue, we are reminded that his goal is to acquire The Child and do anything to get him. The teaser then cuts to an epic montage of Mando, Cara Dune (Gina Carano) and Greek Karga (Carl Weathers). We have seen these scenes in the previous trailer, but are still fun to watch.

While we do finally get to see Esposito in this trailer, it’s from season one. But I will take what I can get! We still haven’t seen Rosario Dawson, Katee Sackhoff, Timothy Olyphant, Temuera Morrison, Bill Burr or Michael Biehn. But at this point, I expect that we won’t until the new season finally airs. You won’t hear any complaining from me, though; I can’t wait to see how they come to life in the series.

The Mandalorian season two will air on Disney Plus starting October 30, 2020. If you haven’t seen season one, use these next few weeks to binge it here!
