The holidays are coming up and finding gifts for everyone can be overwhelming. Luckily Geek Girl Authority is here to help you through the hectic holiday shopping. If you know someone who prefers the freedom of mobile gaming, you are in the right place. Let us help you pick something special for your favorite on-the-go gamer. As a bonus, most goodies in this article are great for anyone with a phone.

Cases

Does your mobile gamer love to express their unique personality? Casetify is perfect for that gamer all about customization. Choose from a seemingly endless selection of phone cases with just about anything printed on them. They always do fun artist and brand collaborations.

From cute and colorful to sleek and simple, there is something for everyone. They offer cases for most newer models of iPhone, Google and Samsung devices. Casetify also has cute lanyards, charge cords and screen protectors.

Otterbox makes great cases for people who are a little tougher on their phones. We all know someone who is constantly dropping their phone (I am that person). Though the color and design options are minimal, these phone cases work hard to protect that expensive device. Otterbox is a reliable brand and their cases are a great choice for the more practical gamer who needs that extra protection.

Controllers

Backbone has created a controller that boasts the ability to allow you to play any game, anywhere. This little wizard connects to an iPhone or Android and allows you to play games from your Xbox, PS5, Steam and more. Make sure your device is compatible before you buy. I would love to give this a try (maybe it will be under my tree this year). Check out their website for more information or grab the latest Backbone model here on Amazon.

Give your favorite mobile gamer the gift of nostalgia this holiday season with a retro-style controller from 8BitDo. They connect via Bluetooth to your Android device. I bought the NES-style controller a long time ago and I love it so much. It makes me feel like I am a kid again, chilling in the 90s.

Browse through their website just to see all of the cool stuff they make. They have all sorts of neat devices and a lot of it is retro style. These controllers are sure to make any gamer smile so check out their awesome selection on Amazon.

Grips

If you use your phone for extended periods, it can be uncomfortable or awkward to hold. Or if you have small hands like me, it can be difficult to snap a picture without dropping your phone. Popsocket makes a nifty little device to solve all of these problems. These round discs adhere to the back of a device for a convenient handle or stand.

You can find them just about anywhere these days including (you guessed it) Amazon. I have tried other types of grips but I always go back to Popsocket. The design choices are endless; I always have the hardest time choosing my next Popsocket.
