It may only be the first week of February but anytime is a great time to celebrate love. So let’s start this cold month with something that will warm your heart. This Mobile Game Monday is as short and sweet as this week’s game, Love You to Bits.
Love You to Bits
Love You to Bits is a cosmic point-and-click adventure released in 2016 by Alike Studio. Follow a tiny human explorer on a colorful journey to save his robot girlfriend, Nova.
After an explosion on their spaceship, Nova’s pieces are scattered across the universe. Our brave little man travels from one strange planet to another in search of pieces of his sweetheart.
Point and click your way through clever cosmic conundrums to retrieve bits and bolts. Each of the 28 planets is a puzzle that is filled with amazing aliens and hidden objects. These hidden treasures can be anything from a necklace to a coffee cup.
Every object represents and restores a heartwarming memory in the robot’s data bank. For each item you collect, you will relive the sweet memories of the loving couple.
Every level in Love You to Bits is vibrant, creative, and innovative. For example, “A Dungeon in Panels” is a cute dungeon-themed puzzle that plays out through comic book panels.
Chasing a goblin through this level was so much fun. I have yet to run into a level that I found too difficult or did not enjoy.
Our Adventure Ends Here
The artwork is adorable, the music is atmospheric, and the story is heartwarming (even tear-jerking). Even the puzzles hit that sweet spot between challenging and entertaining.
Overall, Love You to Bits is gorgeous, clever, and charming. I am currently so obsessed with this game that I don’t want to finish it because I do not want the adventure to end. It truly is that good.
