At the Red Carpet premiere for the upcoming Marvel series, Daredevil, which hits Netflix next Friday, Marvel did a series of interviews with the cast that they posted on the Daredevil Facebook page.

Other than the promise that we’ll get to explore a bit more of Karen Page’s (Deborah Ann Woll) dark past in this season, we didn’t get too much new information.

And then the star of the upcoming Luke Cage series, Mike Colter, appeared. Asked what fans can expect from his series he said, “It’s going to be action-packed, from beginning to the very end. Trust me.” He then went on to say, “Daredevil premieres on March 18, and I will see the fans on September 30th.”

Finally, he added, “You heard it here first” as if he needed to add in that final bit of confirmation to the fans that he is, indeed, telling the truth and that he was allowed to say that by the Marvel/Netflix braintrust.

Beautiful people, fighting, bright lights and BREAKING NEWS! Have a look at last night's New York premiere for Marvel's Daredevil.

CAGE-NOVEMBER

A couple months ago, Netflix released a promotional picture for Jessica Jones that feature an Easter egg suggesting that Luke Cage would be premiering in November — looks like we all got that wrong! And thank the Maker because now we’re getting it a full two months earlier than initially anticipated.
