Earpers, Entertainment Weekly has a treat for you! On Monday, the publication unveiled an exclusive sneak peek of Wynonna Earp stars Melanie Scrofano and Tim Rozon reuniting for Syfy’s SurrealEstate

SurrealEstate, formerly known as The Surrealtor, follows real estate agent Luke Roman (Rozon) and his elite team of specialists. Roman and co. handle the cases that no one else can: haunted houses that frighten away would-be buyers. Thus, the Roman Agency sets out to eradicate the things that go bump in the night, and seek to whip these houses into profitable shape.

Of course, like any genre show, the cast of characters also has to deal with their internal demons.

Now, Scrofano will portray Harper North, a “quirky, timid young woman who lives a solitary life in her family’s picturesque lakeside cottage.” Her brother enlists the aid of the Roman Agency to sell the cottage. Roman must determine whether Harper is stalwartly refusing to give up the house or if something more sinister is at play.

Apparently, Harper is the day to Wynonna’s night. The sardonic gunslinger is vastly different in demeanor from the quiet, demure Harper. Here’s what Scrofano told EW regarding her SurrealEstate character:

My character had to be just weird enough to creep people out a bit. Just enough to make them not want the hassle of dealing with her. But the type of person who would behave that way to get what they want must have a pretty healthy dose of weirdness to them already. So I just kind of played degrees of strange. It was really fun. The wig did most of the work for me.

Besides her work in front of the camera, Scrofano slipped behind the camera to helm two episodes of the Syfy drama. But Earpers know she’s no stranger to directing. In fact, she made her directorial debut in Season Four of Wynonna Earp

Rozon chimed in with his thoughts about Scrofano’s work.

She’s technically playing two characters, which was interesting to see the way she was going to do it. The joy for me was the character that she created. Because on paper, it could have been played a million different ways.

And I don’t think anybody was prepared for just the amount of humor that Melanie brought to it. One of her most incredible strengths is just the balance that she has as an actress between humor and realism.

In the exclusive EW images, we’re privy to a bona fide Wynonna Earp reunion between Scrofano and Rozon in the aforementioned “picturesque” cottage. Additionally, there’s a photo of Scrofano as Harper North while holding a shovel. That doesn’t look ominous at all.

Not only that but there’s a behind-the-scenes picture of Scrofano in director mode. Judging by said BTS image, one of the episodes she’s directing is entitled, “Roman’s Six.” The actress will appear on screen in SurrealEstate‘s third episode, “For Sale By Owner.”

You can take a peek at the photos below. SurrealEstate stars Tim Rozon, Sarah LevyAdam KorsonMaurice Dean Wint and Savannah Basley. Watch the Roman Agency take on the scary stuff when the series premieres on Friday, July 16 at 10 pm, only on Syfy.
