Doctor Who is currently in production for season 10 and today was Matt Lucas’ first day on set at the Cardiff University.
We last saw him as Nardole in the Christmas Special: The Husbands of River Song and now he’s back as a recurring guest. He also gave a special sneak peek of his first day and we got a chance to see The Doctor and companion, Bill:

Doctor Who will be back for a new Christmas Special, then series 10 will air sometime in 2017.
