This is getting interesting! Variety just reported that Neil Patrick Harris has been added to the Matrix 4 cast. No details about the character has been released but the casting itself is certainly intriguing.
Last week, we reported that Yahya Abdul-Mateen II had joined the cast as well. Nothing is know about his character as well although there are young Morpheus rumors out there. Currently only these two newcomers have been announced. They join Matrix trilogy stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie Ann Moss.

Not much is know about the film yet. We know that Lana Wachowski will be directing however her sister, Lily Wachowski, won’t be returning to co-direct on Matrix 4. Lana Wachowski is co-writing the script with Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell. Filming is set to start next year.
