Okay, happy dance is done and now let’s talk about this. I don’t think we could have had a better teaser trailer for Masters of the Universe: Revelation. It is action-packed, iconic and all to the sweet tunes of “Holding Out For A Hero” by Bonnie Tyler. Chills. Literal chills. The series picks up right where the original franchise left off and promises to finish stories that were left undone. And it isn’t just the stories getting a glow up. We will get a show that pays homage to the original but gives us a series we will love.

We have a star-studded cast for Masters of the Universe: Revelation, including Chris Wood (He-Man), Mark Hamill (Skeletor), Sarah Michelle Gellar (Teela), Lena Headey (Evil-Lyn), Liam Cunningham (Man-At-Arms), Stephen Root (Cringer), Diedrich Bader (King Randor/Trap Jaw), Griffin Newman (Orko), Tiffany Smith (Andra), Henry Rollins (Tri-Klops), Alan Oppenheimer (Moss Man), Susan Eisenberg (Sorceress), Alicia Silverstone (Queen Marlena), Justin Long (Roboto), Jason Mewes (Stinkor), Phil LaMarr (He-Ro), Tony Todd (Scare Glow), Cree Summer (Priestess), Kevin Michael Richardson (Beast Man) and Kevin Conroy (Mer-Man).

Check out the brand new teaser below and get ready for the rush of nostalgia you didn’t know you need. Are you excited? Let us know in the comments below and on social media! Masters of the Universe: Revelation will release its first part (a total of five 30 minute episodes) on July 23, 2021!
