Marvel is ramping up its Captain Marvel game. Marvel Studios announced Sunday, that it will release a new trailer for the next installment in the Marvel Universe on Monday. And, just to whip fans into further frenzy, they gave us a new poster while we wait.

The poster shows a powerfully energized Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) in front of images of her life on Earth and in space. There are alien ships and man-made jets in the sky. And, below we see a beach with the wreckage of a crashed vessel; strewn around and on fire.
The new trailer for Captain Marvel will air Monday, December 3rd. It will take over Monday Night Football on ESPN during halftime of the NFL game between the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles. The game starts at 5:15 pm PT/8:15 pm ET. That would put halftime somewhere around 7pm/10pm, respectively. Just record the whole game to be safe.
Captain Marvel opens in theaters March 8, 2019. Joining Larson will be: Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Rune Temte, Algenis Perez Soto, Mckenna Grace, Annette Bening, Clark Gregg and Jude Law.
