The Marvel film, Inhumans, was initially slated to bring their Phase Three to a conclusion. However, when they added Spider-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp into their slate, that pushed things around and now Inhumans has been dropped from the schedule. Infinity War Part Two is now slated to be the end of Phase Three with Inhumans film no longer in on the mix.
Immediately, the rumors started up that they were dropping the film altogether, however, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige has said that is not necessarily the case. The MCU godfather told The Empire Magazine Podcast, “The only situation right now is that Inhumans is not gonna be a part of phase three because phase three increased in a very good way since we initially announced. When and where and how it pops up remains to be seen but its characters we love, it’s a storyline we love and we just didn’t want to cram it into an already quite full phase three.”
So, don’t worry fellow nerds, we’re still getting King Blackbolt, Queen Medusa and the rest of the royal family of Attilan.
