EA Games released a promo video for the new Star Wars game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. It features a fun behind-the-scenes look at Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker, training Cameron Monaghan, star of the game, in the ways of the Jedi. Read on to check it out!

The promo opens with Monaghan dressed in a motion capture suit as Hamill puts him through Jedi training. He tells him how to hold his lightsaber and demonstrates the proper wrist flick for Jedi mind control. In my opinion, the best part is when Hamill throws popcorn at a blindfolded Monaghan, like in the iconic training scene in A New Hope. The promo ends with the rolls reversed to Monaghan showing Hamill how to play the game.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a sequel to 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The original game takes place five years after Revenge of the Sith and features Monaghan as Cal Kestis, an abandoned Padawan trying to complete his training. The game premiered to good reviews, and apparently, Survivor has improved on it. The Guardian even declared the new installment “the best Star Wars game in 20 years.”

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is out now and available from EA Games for PlayStation 5, Windows and Xbox Series. Check out the video below, and let us know what you think of the new game.
