Mages of Mystralia

Mages of Mystralia is an action-adventure game initially released in 2017 by Borealys Games. Additionally, the game was written by Ed Greenwood, the creator of the beloved Forgotten Realms world in Dungeons & Dragons.

Play as Zia, a young girl who discovers she was born with an exceptional sense of magic. Unfortunately, in Zia’s country, magic is forbidden, and she is banished because of her powers. After her exile, Zia goes on an exciting adventure to harness and control her magic with the help of other mages. Ultimately, the young mage also discovers the power of runes and how to harness their abilities.

Players can create various spells using an impressive combination of runes. For example, use fire and ice spells to inflict damage on your enemies in creative ways. There are also utility-type spells that can help you navigate treacherous terrain by building bridges and other useful actions. In Mages of Mystralia, your mind is your greatest weapon as you right wrongs in the kingdom of Mystralia.

Mages of Mystralia is free in the Epic Games Store until March 6 at 10 am PST.
