The wait is almost over! Netflix announced today Lucifer will return May 8 with 10 new episodes. The announcement came in the form of a very hot and steamy teaser with the tagline, “He Is Risen.”
Fox cancelled the show in Summer 2018, leaving fans hanging on a cliff. Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German) finally saw Lucifer’s (Tom Ellis) devil face. There was a bonus episode shortly after that gave fans a glimpse into an alternate universe. But fans still needed to know what happened next. Luckily Netflix picked up the show and here we are.

Lucifer is based on the characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg for Vertigo from DC Entertainment. The series produced by Warner Bros. Television in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television and executive-produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, Joe Henderson, Ildy Modrovich, Sheri Elwood and KristieAnne Reed.
