Love Bites
Our first WEBTOON series this week fills our romance and supernatural void. Alicia Wallace and WmW’s Love Bites follows Kieran, a vampire who has major issues with the werewolf community. Things take a turn for the confusing when a new student shows up and Kieran doesn’t understand his initial disdain. But when Mason turns out to be a werewolf, all makes sense. Except when they share a surprise kiss and both find themselves drawn to each other.
We really love romance and the supernatural WEBTOON series. When creators combine both worlds, it’s simply irresistible. Love Bites is an instant romance between two people who couldn’t be more different. Each has their own issues to contend with when it comes to this newfound infatuation, but watching them try to find their way to happiness is a rollercoaster of emotions we can’t pull our eyes away from.

Angel of Death
Our second series keeps the romance and supernatural train rolling. Riley Redgate and Mhaikkun’s Angel of Death follows Azriel, the literal angel of death, after he is cast out of heaven when he lets a soul slip through his fingers. Except Jo isn’t ready for this reaping and matches him every step of the way. Intrigued by someone finally willing to go toe-to-toe with him and someone who is truly reliable, both find themselves going down a path neither was ready for.
Angel of Death is a series that we knew we would like, but weren’t prepared to be obsessed. We started the series a little late to the game and instantly knew we would binge every chapter available. The artstyle feels ethereal at times and mixes well with the tone and flow of the series. Watching Azriel and Jo fight their attraction, find comfort in each other, and slowly fall in love is so satisfyingly sweet. It’s a series perfect for a long weekend.
