Today, Deadline dropped some exciting news for the upcoming New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Animation animated feature The Lord of the Rings: The War of Rohirrim. It is directed by Kenji Kamiyama and centers around the fate of the House of Helm Hammerhand, a character from J.R.R. Tolkien‘s book’s appendix. The news centers around the voice-acting cast tapped for the film, including Brian Cox, Gaia Wise and Miranda Otto.

The Lord of the Rings: The War of Rohirrim is set 183 years before the events of the original trilogy. Helm’s daughter, Hera, finds herself in an increasingly desperate situation and must rise up and lead the resistance against total destruction.
