Looks Like Scott Lang Is in the Security Business for ANT-MAN AND THE WASP

Writer Nick Spencer has been writing the comic book version of Ant-Man for a couple years now and one of the biggest, best things he did for the character was move him down to Miami where he opened his own security business. Since then, he’s recruited a number of other ex-cons to his business, including a man named Grizzly, who’s got the strength and speed of a bear so long as he’s in his bear suit — which he’s stuck in, and it’s very hot underneath all that fur.

It’s a very funny comic and now we’re seeing a small part of it brought to life on the big screen.

Over on Reddit a very kind redditor, rhodetolove posted in the Marvel forum a picture of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Luis’s (Michael Pena) van from the first movie, but it’s had some slight upgrades. And by upgrades, we mean it now reads “Ex-Con Security Consultants” on the side of the van. You can see the picture, here.

We have to be careful to not jump to any conclusions here. It’s entirely possible that Scott Lang has nothing to do with this. After all, it’s not technically his van — it’s Luis’s van. So maybe after Scott Lang went and trashed a plane as Giant Man in Captain America: Civil War, Luis and his ex-con friends, went and opened their own security firm. It’s not outside the realm of reason that Lang may not be a part of that.

Of course, then there’s that whole unknown variable of Avengers: Infinity War which takes place before Ant-man and the Wasp hits theaters. Where Lang and the Pym family will be after that film is anybody’s guess — but let’s be honest, he’s totally involved. He’s totally using the Ant-Man technology to help secure businesses and homes in San Francisco and this is absolutely where Hope Van Dyne finds him when their movie starts.
