Loki from Marvel movie Thor: Ragnarok.

This is not a drill, folks! As reported by Entertainment Weekly, Disney unveiled the premiere dates for two of its upcoming shows during Wednesday’s TCA (Television Critics Association) presentation. That’s right, we know the debuts for the much-anticipated, Tom Hiddleston-led Loki and newest Star Wars animated entry Star Wars: The Bad Batch!

Loki is now eyeing a summer outing as opposed to its previously announced time frame. It’ll be the third Marvel live-action series for mega streaming giant Disney Plus. The show will focus on our favorite Asgardian god of mischief as he’s brought to the elusive Time Variance Authority after he snagged the Tesseract and vanished in Avengers: EndgameOwen WilsonGugu Mbatha-RawWunmi MosakuSophia Di Martino and Richard E. Now, Star Wars: The Bad Batch is an animated series that takes place after Star Wars: The Clone WarsThe Bad Batch will follow an elite military squad comprised of “unusual clones.” It’s the brainchild of creator Dave Filoni with Jennifer Corbett as head writer and Brad Rau serving as supervising director. So far, only Ming-Na Wen (Fennec Shand on The Mandalorian and the impending The Book of Boba Fett) and Dee Bradley Baker (The Clone Wars) are listed as cast members. The Bad Batch is the first of several Star Wars spin-off shows that are in the works for Disney Plus.

Considering how successful The Mandalorian was and how massive WandaVision is, it should come as no surprise to anyone that Disney would want to broaden its horizons. Next up on the Marvel live-action front is the highly buzzed The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which will be debuting on March 19.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch will premiere on Tuesday, May 4. Loki will make its glorious entrance on Friday, June 11.
