A trailer posted to the official Marvel Studios YouTube channel on Monday, September 4, 2023, has given a few more glimpses of Loki season 2. This included new narration from Loki (Tom Hiddleston) that shows he may be experiencing a time loop. Plus, we get to see a little bit more of Variant Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), who seems primed to live up to the “God of Mischief” moniker.

Loki Season 2 Trailer

In the new trailer, Loki explains in voiceover that he’s being “pulled through time, between the past and the present.” Meanwhile, the footage includes scenes of Loki seemingly twisting inside out. Another shot seems to show Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) encountering a retro version of Miss Minutes (Tara Strong), one reduced to pixels instead of existing as a hologram.

The trailer also includes shots of franchise newcomer Ke Huy Quan in his role as another TVA employee. Also appearing are Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson) and antagonist Victor Timely (Jonathan Majors), another Kang variant . And there are very brief glimpses of returning TVA employees Casey (Eugene Cordero) and Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) as well.

In addition to some fresh footage, the trailer includes some of the shots we’ve seen in the previous trailer. And Loki isn’t the only character whose dialogue is used for voice-over. Near the conclusion of the trailer, Timely seems to remark on the cyclical nature of their conflict. Could the God of Mischief find himself trapped in another time loop?
