LoganTrailer2

With one month to go, LOGAN is in full promotion swing. Now that we’ve seen the final trailer, it’s all TV spots from here! With our two first spots, it’s emphasized again that something is very wrong with Wolverine – he’s gotten too old. But there’s hope in one little girl that’s come into their life.

In our first spot we’re reminded that the mutants are all gone. And while all the other mutants may be gone, there’s a new one and she needs Wolverine’s help. We also get our first lines from Caliban, played by Stephen Merchant. He reminds Wolverine that something’s happening to him, that he’s not healing. He acknowledges, pretty much saying he’s Old Man Logan.

Our second spot focuses on our new favorite mutant – X-23. Professor X reminds everyone that X-23 is essentially Wolverine Jr. She’s a whole lot of attitude in a short package. So much so that they show her facing down the Reavers again. Professor X tells Wolverine that she can learn to be better, even better then him. There’s a sense of hope with her.

The spots have a lot of the same footage but bits and pieces of new footage and dialogue sprinkled in. They do a damn good job of keeping us hyped for this movie. Though it’s hard to think this is Hugh Jackman‘s last time as the Wolverine, he’ll be going out with one hell of a bang.

What do you think of the spots below? Are you sad to see Hugh Jackman go? Let us know and be sure to see LOGAN in theaters March 3rd.
