Well this is good news. According to THR, horror-fantasy series Locke & Key is no longer homeless! The comic adaptation pilot that was passed on by Hulu has been picked up by the streaming giant Netflix. This is 8 years after they’ve attempted to bring it to the small screen! And only 2 months after being canned at Hulu, the show by showrunner Carlton Cuse, may have a home.

According to the article, a deal is being finalized over at Netflix to bring the show direct to series. Unfortunately for the pilot cast, the series will be apparently be completely recast. Not only that, but they will rework the series and bring on new directors to work on the project. After trying to get on Fox all the way back in 2010, the series is like the little engine that could! We have no details about the show but it will be interesting to see what Netflix will do with the series, outside recasting everyone.
