VIXEN IS COMING TO ARROW!
News broke late yesterday on TV Insider that Megalyn Echikunwoke will be bringing the live action version of her character, Vixen, to CW’s his series Arrow. We say bringing because she’s provided the voice for Vixen, a.k.a. Mari McCabe, on an animated show, called Vixen, for the online platform, CW Seed. On Seed, she’s appeared with Oliver Queen, Barry Allen and Felicity Smoak
As Marc Guggenheim said, “We’re not only thrilled to be further expanding our DC television universe by bringing in the live-action incarnation of the CW Seed hit, Vixen, we’re immensely excited that Megalyn will be revisiting her role as Mari McCabe.”
For those of you unfamiliar with the character, Vixen has a mystical amulet, passed down through her family for generations, that allows the bearer to mimic the abilities of any animal on earth.
Her episode is tentatively schedule to air on February 24th in the 14th episode of their Fourth season.
