Wow, wow, wow! J.J. Abrams announced on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon that he had in fact collaborated on a new song for Star Wars: The Force Awakens with Broadway Badass, Lin-Manuel Miranda.
If you don’t know already, Miranda is the creator and star of the Tony award winning In The Heights, and the Broadway hit Hamilton. We got a taste of Lin-Manuel’s freestyle abilities a couple of weeks ago when he was a guest on The Tonight Show, rapping about Darth Vader.
Lin-Manuel Miranda is currently writing songs for Disney’s latest animated movie, Moana.
Check out the hashtag #Force4Ham, where Twitter has taken to Hamilton-ifying, Star Wars. It’s amazing!
