Someone Get Us a Puppers
Pitter-patter, let’s get at’er one last time. No need for crying, though, so take about 20 percent off there. TVLine has exclusively shared the Season 12 trailer for Letterkenny, and it’s a bittersweet farewell to our fave titular small town. The trailer highlights one final brawl for Wayne, the toughest guy in Letterkenny, and a general feeling of malaise from everyone involved. Characters like Katy remark on how they feel “stuck,” which seems to be a theme for this season. Additionally, we’re promised an inoffensive comedy night and some Skid-related antics.
Here’s a synopsis for Season 12:
“The residents of Letterkenny belong to one of three groups: the Hicks, the Skids, and the Hockey Players, who are constantly feuding over seemingly trivial matters that often end with someone getting their ass kicked. In Season 12, the small town contends with a comedy night at MoD3an’s, a country music hit, the Degens’ bad influence, a new nightclub, and an encore at the Ag Hall. And that’s just for starters.”
Season 12
Letterkenny stars Jared Keeso, Nathan Dales, Michelle Mylett, K. Trevor Wilson, Dylan Playfair, Andrew Herr, Tyler Johnston, Evan Stern, Lisa Codrington, Jacob Tierney, Clark Backo, Kaniehtiio Horn, Melanie Scrofano, Dan Petronijevic and Mark Forward. Keeso serves as creator, executive producer and co-writer, while Tierney is also an executive producer, director and co-writer.
Yesterday, Crave and New Metric Media inked a first-of-its-kind overall deal with Jared Keeso. The multi-year agreement includes 49 new episodes for Crave to expand the world of Letterkenny (its spin-off Shoresy already scored a Season 3 greenlight). Thankfully, this also includes more Letterkenny spin-offs and new series. Letterkenny was Crave’s first-ever original program when it debuted in 2016.
