Bidet Critters! Critical Role finally announced their Kickstarter for the upcoming The Legend of Vox Machina animated special. Teased in a tweet two weeks ago, we had a little bit of insight regarding the new announcement, however, I was not prepared for just how freaking fantastic this is!

The animation is being done by Titmouse, the company responsible for Big Mouth and The Aventure Bros plus so many more. The 30 minute special will be completely canon to the campaign and will be an event prior to the start of the stream. The script is being written by Jennifer Muro, a highly sought-out writer within the industry and simply awesome. Finally, the team is voicing themselves! Matt Mercer will, of course, have some voice time along with several other celebrity guests to really help bring this to life.

The big question? How can we help! By financially supporting the project of course. They have set up several different tiers with epic rewards included. Just by donating $20 you will receive a download for the theme song and ringtone. As well as a version sung by the Emmy award-winning Sam Riegel. The higher tiers include artwork, dice, a much-needed Trinket plushie and even chances to enjoy lunch with the cast and private viewing when the special is released. The money will all go to helping with production and animation.

Thanks to our favorite TV scientist, Ashley Johnson, we know it will cost quite a bit of money to get this show off the ground. The $750,000 goal was far more than any company was willing to back. However, as I am writing this, you know only about 45 minutes after the Kickstarter went live, the Critter community have helped reached that goal! Don’t worry though, you still have 45 days to jump on and back this project!
