Legends of Tomorrow blew our collective geek minds last night!

If it didn’t, go back and re-watch it.

Slade Wilson’s son has terrorized Star City to the point that everyone in the city has fled and, in the vacuum, criminals have filled in and completely taken over. Which, of course, has created the perfect environment for Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell), who believes that he’s found his criminal Valhalla and doesn’t want to leave.

And in this trailer for next week’s Legends of Tomorrow, we see the full ramifications of that when the crew stumbles into a trap set by … time pirates.

Seriously. Time Pirates. How perfect is this show?

It appears, by this sneak peek, that the whole crew is captured and Mick sees an opportunity to stay with time pirates. This is most likely due to feelings of betrayal between Mick and his best friend and partner, Leonard Snart, who are definitely not getting along.

In fact, it looks like they full-on turn on each other with Snart saying, “time to pick a side” after Mick yells at him, “I thought we were a team!”

PIRATE ATTACK – After receiving a distress call from another timeship stranded in space, Rip (Arthur Darvill) decides to answer the call in order to use the other ship’s computer to track Savage (guest star Casper Crump). The team is suspicious and warns him this could be a trap but he moves forward with his plan. Ultimately, the team was right and they have to battle time pirates. With most of the team captured, it is up to Professor Stein (Victor Garber) to rescue them all. Gregory Smith directed the episode written by Anderson Mackenzie & Phil Klemmer (#107).
