Fans of the Square Enix Final Fantasy series received some pretty amazing news yesterday. Several titles from the JRPG (Japanese role playing game) series are making their way to not only the Nintendo Switch but also the Xbox One, Xbox One X, PS4, and PC through Steam. The announcement coincided with yesterday’s release of Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD for the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming release for World of Final Fantasy Maxima on November 6, 2018. They also announced that after 10 years, Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY! will return and have a release this winter!
Aside from these new titles making their way over to the Nintendo Switch, we also have some truly memorable titles moving as well. Fans will be able to explore the expansive world of Ivalice in Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age or relive iconic scenes from Final Fantasy VII, IX and X/X-2 HD Remastered. The hope is that some day soon fans of the series will be able to enjoy hallmark Final Fantasy titles anytime and anywhere. These titles and more will be releasing throughout 2019.
