Some leaked audition tapes for Deadpool 2 have surfaced and Omega Underground has found them. They feature two young actors, Killian Scott, from Ripper Street, and Charley Palmer Rothwell, who will appear in Dunkirk later this year. Though the audition tapes themselves have been taken down, the transcript for the auditions will live forever on the internet, mocking us with their mystery until we are told who they are.
The scene features a character named Mike, who’s speaking to another mutant. Mike, in relation to the other mutant, makes mention several times of them having “fire,” saying, “You got more fire in your lungs than your fists,” and then later, “Our gifts are unique we’re made for each other. Okay, fire and the ultimate fuel.” We also hear him make reference to “the man with the silver arm,” and we can only imagine that he’s referring to Cable, who will be played by Josh Brolin in the film. He also make reference to a man named Keaton, then later Richard. It’s unclear if these are two separate characters or one character named Richard Keaton. As far as we can remember, there is no Keaton character that would fit this scenario, though it’s entirely possible that this is simply a placeholder name.
For that matter, Mike is very probably a placeholder name.

That being said, if the mutant “Mike” is talking to has fire in his fists and Mike himself is “fuel” for that fire, we going to throw out this awesome possible combination — Jonothon “Chamber” Starsmore is “Mike” and he’s speaking to St. John Allerdyce, also known as Pyro. And why do we say that?
Pyro is a mutant who can control fire, but cannot generate it. That is, if there is already a flame, Pyro can manipulate it, control it, make it hotter, smaller, bigger, shape it into a dragon — whatever he wants. But, he needs the fire to already be there. That is, he needs “fuel.”
Chamber could be that fuel. Though in the comics his power is more psychic in nature, he’s ended up being a sort of storehouse for the turbulent energy his body generates. It’s so powerful, in fact, that it exploded out of his mouth and took over the whole front of his body, where it still emanates, denying him any semblance of a normal life because, no matter how accepting you are as a human, if you see someone with a giant fiery hole in their face, you’re likely to stay away.
Those are our guesses, but read the copy below and let us know what your theories are.
SCENE #1
MIKE: Hey! Leave the boy alone, he’s special.
MIKE: What are you laughing at? If anyone touches this boy again, they’ll have to answer to me and the big man downstairs.
MIKE: Young fella, you don’t need to sit with a dying man you’re always welcome to join us.
MIKE: The name is Mike.
SCENE #2
2ND MALE CHARACTER: Another day another page.
MIKE: It’s terrible isn’t it? All that fear. All that pain.
MIKE: You got more fire in your lungs than your fists. Do you think Keaton gave a fuck about you? I think he saw his opportunity, he took it. I can hardly blame him. Richard hurt you didn’t he?
2ND: How did you know?
He hurt you bad. He took away your voice, he took away your power. He took away every single power, but one. The one that makes you special, you know? The one that scared him, fire. But, now he taking that too. Do you see?
2ND: See what?
MIKE: How much power we have, together. Our gifts are unique we’re made for each other. Okay, fire and the ultimate fuel. And the man with the silver arm is gonna come back here for you and when he does, we’ll have a chance to be free this fucking steel. Okay? And if you take with you, I can protect you because I have control of the monster down below. He can protect the both of us, right? This is how I see it give us a bit of time to make things right. Cause, honestly, I’m not a good man. But I’m no lier, okay? I’m no lier. And I wanna show you that there can be real justice in this fucking world. Real freedom, you’re not alone boy. See this? [possibly pointing to scars] I knew the man that raised you, maybe even better than you did. And you know we can make him pay for what he did to us. We make every single soul that hurt us buddy. Start by tell me your name.
He has two cats and knows all things about Doctor Strange but little else.
