We are in the thick of the gift-giving season, and if you are anything like us, you have a few gifts left to get. Before you get stressed out thinking you need to hit up all the shops, we’ve got a last-minute gift guide that is sure to please anyone on your list.

Streaming Services

With more and more shows popping up on streaming services, having at least one of them is a must. So why not gift someone on your list a subscription to one? Are they a fan of the Marvel series and movies? Then check out Disney Plus. Do they love shows like The Sandman, The Witcher or Wednesday? Drop them a gift to Netflix. You can even give the gift of Crunchyroll to all of the anime fans on your list. Personally, we’d love a Hulu subscription just in time to binge the new season of Letterkenny.

Book Boxes

Have an avid reader on your list? There are tons of options for book subscription boxes that are sure to win you some brownie points this holiday season. You can never go wrong with the Book of the Month Club. If you have a reader who loves young adult fantasy-esque novels, check out OwlCrate. For those with younger readers, we suggest checking out the Reading Bug Box. And for something with a ton of extras, we suggest the Sweet Reads Box. We had the chance to check this one out earlier this year and were dazzled by all the fun stuff it included!

Crime Solving

True crime podcasts have been on the rise over the last few years. And with that, more and more people are diving into games centered around solving them. So what better way to surprise your true crime junkie than with a subscription to Hunt A Killer? It’s a great way to spend time with friends or family and get that brain working. Each box is packed with information, puzzles to solve and tons of mystery. And for those brave enough, we suggest checking out Hunt A Killer’s horror boxes themed after The Blair Witch.

Game Passes for Xbox and PlayStation

Do you have a gamer on your list? Not sure what new game to get them or what accessories to grab? We suggest checking out the Xbox or PlayStation game pass programs. This lets gamers access multiple games monthly. It is an excellent way for many of us to check out a game we just weren’t sure we wanted to spend the money on or find hidden gems. The PS has Playstation Plus and includes hundreds of games from the PS2, PS3 and PS4. The Xbox Game Pass includes several different membership levels, including one that allows playing on PC.

Patreon and Kickstarter

We’ve said this before, and we will say it again and again and again. The best gift is the one that keeps on giving. Even if it is a last-minute gift. A great way to do this is to support creators through their Patreons or Kickstarters. And you can do this as a gift and a way to show support. Creators with Patreons are always showing off behind-the-scenes stuff or providing additional content to their subscribers for your recipient to enjoy. Or sign them up for a Kickstarter of their favorite upcoming game or show and net them tons of fun extras they won’t be able to get later.

Regardless of what you decide to get them, be sure to enjoy your upcoming holiday season!
