La La Land has carried a lot of buzz with it as it has crossed the festival circuit, and now we a new trailer, called Dreamers, from Lionsgate.
Channeling classic Hollywood musicals and giving us a modern look at modern performers troubles, La La Land looks to be a perfect mashup of old and new. I have very high hopes for this one. If nothing else, I think a lot of us are aching for a little fantasy. We need a little shine; A little shimmer. A little song and dance? Yes, please.
Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone both have the acting chops to transport you. It looks like they’re going to use them. I can’t wait.
La La Land will be in theaters this December.
