The final Knives Out trailer doesn’t give away too much other than the critics really like it.  It’s full of excerpts from the reviews that all adds up to  99% Fresh rating from Rotten Tomatoes

Knives Out stars Daniel Craig as Detective Benoit Blanc who is investigating the death of famed crime novelist Harlan Thrombey (Christopher Plummer).  His list of suspects is kind of long because the whole list consists of Thrombey’s family. He says the family is desperate. And when people get desperate, the knives come out.

Knives Out also stars Chris Evans,  Jamie Lee CurtisToni Collette, Don JohnsonMichael ShannonRiki Lindhome, LaKeith Stanfield, Katherine Langford, Jaeden Martell and Ana De Armas.  They all deny killing Thrombey, setting up the Clue-like comedy that I’m sure will have a few twists.

This actually looks like a fun movie.  I enjoy a good mystery and I can’t help but be intrigued with finding out who the real killer is.  The obvious choice is Evans’ character Ransom, but that may be too obvious.  I can’t wait to find out.

Here’s the synopsis:

Acclaimed writer and director Rian Johnson pays tribute to mystery mastermind Agatha Christie in Knives Out, a fun, modern-day murder mystery where everyone is a suspect. When renowned crime novelist Harlan Thrombey is found dead at his estate just after his 85th birthday, the inquisitive and debonair Detective Benoit Blanc is mysteriously enlisted to investigate. From Harlan’s dysfunctional family to his devoted staff, Blanc sifts through a web of red herrings and self-serving lies to uncover the truth behind Harlan’s untimely death.
