The Inhumans cast is almost complete now!

We’ve got Anson Mount as King Black Bolt, Serinda Swan as his wife, Queen Medusa, Iwan Rheon as brother to the king and would-be usurper, Maximus the Mad and now, today, we’ve got LOST alum Ken Leung taking on the role of Karnak.

And just who is Karnak?

Karnak is an Inhuman and cousin to Black Bolt. He has the gift of “seeing the fault in all things — people, plans, structures, everything.” In other words, he can beat you with a simple punch to the right body part or say just the right thing to make you crumble into an emotional pile of sobbing on the floor. He’s the guy that can tap a boulder in the right place and crack it down the middle.

He’s also a highly intelligent strategist and the main, most trusted advisor to the King. Deadline described him also as “Black Bolt’s most ardent supporter and strategist and is often seen as the royal family’s planner and philosopher.”

Speaking of Leung in the role, Marvel Television President Jeph Loeb said, “Ken brings both a wisdom and a power to the role that no one else could match. His Karnak will be awesome.” Showrunner Scott Buck added, “Ken Leung has a great natural intelligence that reads clearly and will add depth and complexity to the very complicated character of Karnak.”

Inhumans will open in IMAX theatres this September, showing the first two episodes there before then moving to television for the remainder of it’s eight-episode arc.
