Entertainment Weekly released the new photos from John Wick 3: Parabellum featuring Keanu Reeves and Halle Berry. This is the third installment in the John Wick story picking up where the second film left off.
At the end of John Wick: Chapter 2, John Wick (Reeves) was excommunicated from the organization. The High Table put a 14 million dollar contract out on his head and John was only given an hour to get out of town.
The film also stars Angelica Huston, Asia Kate Dillon, Mark Dacascos, and Jason Mantzoukas. Hiroyuki Sanada will play the primary villain. Laurence Fishburne will return as the Bowery King and Ian McShane will reprise his role as Winston. Derek Kolstad, Chris Collins and Marc Abrams, and Shay Hatten all returned to write the third script and Chad Stahelski returns to direct.

One of the new photos features two Belgian Malinois dogs that belong to Sofia. Director Stahelski said the dogs are symbolic of some one that Sofia has lost, just like John’s puppy was symbolic of his dead wife. Let’s hope these dogs live longer than the puppy did. Reeves told EW that Berry plays Sofia, someone from his past that he goes to for help. Something tells me that Sofia may have some experience with the High Table. The second photo is John walking through the rain, probably trying to find a place to hide. Check out the photos above and below.
There’s no word on when we will get a trailer. Let’s hope it’s soon! John Wick 3: Parabellum hits theaters on May 17, 2019.
