D23 Expo 2022 is in full swing, and with it comes news of all our favorite properties, including Marvel, Star Wars and more! Today’s Loki panel featured a surprise visit from Ke Huy Quan, the newest member of the series’ second season. Read on to find out what we know so far.
Ke Huy Quan joined Loki castmembers Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino and Owen Wilson onstage at the show’s D23 panel, joking that he was in the wrong room for the Indiana Jones panel. Once there, however, Marvel boss Kevin Feige announced Quan’s addition to Loki Season 2 as, purportedly, a TVA employee.

Best known as Short Round in the original Indiana Jones and Data in The Goonies, Quan returned to acting in a star-making role in Everything Everywhere All At Once. After largely disappearing from the big screen, his return this year is a triumphant one.
At the moment, we don’t know anything about the role the Quan will play. In fact, we don’t know anything about what Season 2 holds. The Season 1 finale ended with Kang the Conquerer (Jonathan Majors) changing the multiverse as we know it, something Quan is no stranger to, so I think he’ll fit right in.
