Over in Forbes Report, we’ve got a story that Guillermo Del Toro has turned in his first draft of the Justice League Dark script he’s been working on, at least, since November of 2012.
The understanding is that this film will happen outside of the continuity being set up in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. This will be a stand alone film, much like other DC property, Neil Gaiman’s Sandman. Apparently, WB is keeping the supernatural fair separate from its superheroes.
The story, at least in the comics, deal with the scary stuff that goes bump in the night and stars Constantine, Deadman, Zatanna, and Swamp Thing. There are a lot of other characters that have been a part of the team as well, including Frankenstein (agent of S.H.A.D.E.), Pandora and the Phantom Stranger, so it’ll be interesting to see if includes them in it.
