So we’re out a Guillermo Del Toro to direct the WB’s film adaptation for DC Comic’s Justice League Dark movie, but we’re up a few more possible candidates according to JoBlo.com.

As they report, the filmmakers they are looking at, “have a strong grasp of the dark and macabre genre and would easily fill the shoes of Guillermo Del Toro, who left the film after turning in his screenplay and toiling with the studio over casting and scheduling.” They go on to report that Del Toro’s screenplay is apparently “excellent and one of the main reasons that the studio is pushing to get JLD underway with a shooting start in early 2016.”

A couple of the names they state are directing duo Aharon Keshales & Navot Papushado, who directed a film called Big Bad Wolves, and Fede Alvarez who directed the Evil Dead remake.
