It may not receive the award for this year’s game of the year, but I can guarantee Just Die Already is already pretty high on my list. From DoubleMoose, the sandbox old person simulator is proof you don’t have to be young to have fun. The new trailer even shows off just how much fun DoubleMoose has been having, as it parodies the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077. They swear this is purely coincidental, as they have been watching CD Projekt Red‘s trailer over and over in anticipation.

This isn’t the first time the team has parodied another game. Just Die Already has an entire trailer dedicated to Hideo Kojima‘s Death Stranding. But the new trailer shows off more than just the funny side of the development team. It gives us a look at all the crazy things we are going to get to explore. They have gliders hiding behind vending machines, flying cars and a wand that turns your opponent’s face into a butt. That’s right. You could go against a bunch of butts.

Just Die Already does not take itself too seriously, and I am here for it. A friend and I spent some time testing out the playable demo on Steam, and it did not disappoint. They aren’t lying when they say that gameplay features near endless possibilities and that was just a small part of the game. I can only imagine what will happen when everything becomes available. The demo is only up until Wednesday September 2, 2020, so be sure to jump in as soon as possible!

Just Die Already is set to release sometime soon for PC through Steam.
