Jurassic World Rebirth, the seventh movie in the franchise that began with 1993’s Jurassic Park, is stomping its way to a summer 2025 release. And now, you can get your first look at the prehistoric mayhem in store thanks to the movie’s first trailer (embedded at the bottom of this article).

Jurassic World Rebirth Trailer

In Jurassic World Rebirth, an all-new cast of characters shows up to volunteer as dinosaur chow. This includes Scarlett Johansson as Zora Bennett, the “mission specialist,” who is meant to get Dr. Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey) to and from an island that served as the research facility for the original Jurassic Park. Rounding out the leads we meet in the trailer is Duncan Kincaid (Mahershala Ali).

Judging by the trailer, the movie’s story sees Loomis on a mission to harvest DNA from the three biggest dinosaurs on the island. Apparently, this will inform “a medical breakthrough that could save countless lives.”

The trailer features plenty of teases of the dinosaurs you can expect to see on the big screen come summer. This includes the Mosasaurus (which debuted in 2015’s Jurassic World) and the Spinosaurus (which debuted in 2001’s Jurassic Park III). It will also see the return of the Dilophosaurus from the original movie. Of course, you can expect appearances from franchise perennial favorites like the Tyrannosaurus and Velociraptor as well. And that’s not to mention the many Easter egg references you can pick out in the trailer alone, like the banner from the Isla Nublar welcome center, the InGen logo and the iconic JP Jeep.
