Universal Studios has released the second trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth. The seventh movie in the Jurassic Park franchise, Rebirth promises a new island and a variety of dinosaurs old and new. Plus, you can expect a serious headache for protagonists Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson), Dr. Henry Loomis (Jonathan Bailey) and Duncan Kincaid (Mahershala Ali).

The new Rebirth trailer comes on the heels of the first trailer for the movie, which was released in February 2025. That trailer gave us a few glimpses of what to expect in the movie. However, the new trailer expands on it, showing us a longer look at some thrilling scenes and set pieces.

First up, the new trailer shows us more of the chaos caused by the mutant dinosaur. In the trailer’s opening scene, we see several scientists get eaten up by the mostly hidden creature. It’s safe to assume this “dinosaur” is the movie’s big bad, right? Or, at least as far as the prehistoric antagonists go.

But in addition to the mutant, the trailer also promises a whole plethora of more recognizable dinosaurs will stampede into theaters. These include the franchise’s biggest dino-star, the Tyrannosaurus rex. Interestingly, the scene suggests we’ll see a new side of the T. rex. The trailer shows the big carnivore swimming in a river. And it also seems as though the pterodactyls will get a big set piece. Plus, is that an adorable little Aquilops in a backpack? You can bet that baby will be merchandisable.
