JURASSIC WORLD 2: FALLEN KINGDOM Teaser Features Dinosaur Insanity

Universal Pictures graced us with the first teaser footage of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2015 film that brought us all back to the magic of 1993, Isla Nublar, and the island’s prehistoric residents.

The 15-second teaser clip promises plenty of action and mayhem. The musical score sets a heart-pounding tone that carries through from the initial “Run!” scream from Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) to the final reveal. The short teaser not only brings the action, having Owen running from a cloud of smoke billowing out from a burning forest followed by a stampede of dinosaurs (while also dodging falling chunks of – oh holy crackers, is that lava?!), it also brings the nostalgia. The scene is very reminiscent of the flocking pattern run in the original Jurassic Park. Huddled behind an open gyrosphere, next to some downed trees, Owen takes shelter with Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) and an unknown character (Justice Smith).
