Bandai Namco announced on their official Twitter today that their anime fighter Jump Force will be getting a port over to the Nintendo Switch. Originally released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC through Steam back in 2019, so it’s release on the Nintendo Switch was always an upcoming possibility. This wasn’t the only good news they tweeted about this morning. They have also released a second character game pass that kicks off with Shoto Todoroki who joins already playable characters from My Hero Academia.
Todoroki will feature his key fire and ice abilities along with others based on his character. He joins a cast of heavy hitters from multiple animes including Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Bleach, and so many more. The Nintendo Switch port for Jump Force will be a deluxe edition and include the base game as well as the nine downloadable content patches so they can jump right into the action. The Nintendo Switch port will also allow battles up to six players and also includes local gameplay options for a one on one showdown.
There is no official release date for Jump Force on the Nintendo Switch other than that we should expect it this year. If you really want to get your hands on it before then, you can play it now for PS4, Xbox One and on PC.
