JUMANJI Welcomes You to the Jungle in New Trailer

Erin Lynch

Jumanji is coming whether you like it or not. A brand new trailer has come out, showing us more plot points, more gags and more fun. And using the very easy music choice of Guns N’ Roses “Welcome to the Jungle”. Because, you know. The jungle. And it’s also the subtitle of the film!

Uploaded on The Rock‘s Youtube channel, we get to see the 4 high school kids discover more about their avatars. We learn that like classic video games, they get three lives in the Jumanji world before they die. Not only do they have lives to watch over, they also have strengths and weaknesses. Some get great weaknesses like “none” while others get “cake”. I don’t blame them, cake is a weakness of mine, too.

Hijinks ensue including a snake staring contest, exploding from eating cake and piggyback rides. Honestly, everything just looks over the top. And with the PG rating, we’re sure the children in the audience is gonna eat it up. It looks like the actors had a lot of fun making the film, what do you think?

Four high school kids discover an old video game console and are drawn into the game’s jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji – you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves – or they’ll be stuck in the game forever.

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is out December 20th.
