Jordan Peele is about to step into another dimension thanks to his new gig as host and narrator to The Twilight Zone reboot. The revival of the iconic show was announced last year, collaborating with Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg’s Genre Films; originally intending for Peele to only serve as Executive Producer. This morning, however, it was announced that he would be the face of the revival in addition to executive producing. Along with the announcement came a teaser in the form of a 26 second clip where one can clearly hear a mix of Peele and Serling’s voices reading the opening intro. Spine tingling, isn’t it?
“Rod Serling was an uncompromising visionary who not only shed light on social issues of his time, but prophesied issues of ours,” said Peele “I’m honored to carry on his legacy to a new generation of audiences as the gatekeeper of The Twilight Zone.” – Deadline.
