Everyone is hyped for The Last Jedi. Well, everyone who’s reading this article, that is. And now thanks to an interview with Variety, we learned a little more behind the scenes. At least, a little more behind the scenes regarding music.

John Boyega, who stars as the adorable Finn, was talking about his latest film, Detroit. While most of the questions were geared toward that film, it’s irresistible to ask a Star Wars question. Variety asked “What was the set of Star Wars The Last Jedi like?” and Boyega’s response is hilarious.

Working with Rian [Johnson] was really fantastic. He’s a great director. He’s a goof-ball on set. We had two weeks in which I was on the rig, for the whole two weeks. And he played his really nerdy playlist in which it was like the country version of every famous hip-hop song. He has [them] on his phone, like a country version. And he would play it and expect everyone to vibe to it. Nah nah nah, not so much. Not so much. Leave it out, Rian. Leave it out.

That. Is. Hilarious. I’m personally not a fan of country, but that just seems like something that would be so weird on the set of the epic Star Wars. For listening references, The Gourds do a cover of “Gin and Juice” and it’s…well, it just is.
