Netflix's You

Warning: This announcement contains spoilers for the first season of Netflix’s original series YOU

Ah, December. ‘Tis the season for decking halls, dealing with family and gorging yourself on festive treats. Once you’re all holidayed out, strap in for another wild ride with Netflix’s most compelling stalker, Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley). Based on the thriller by Caroline Kepnes, You’s first season followed Joe as he fell a little too hard for a customer at his New York City book shop, Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail).

Fans were given an early Christmas gift with the announcement of a second season in mid November which only got better once it was revealed that  Victoria Pedretti, James Scully, Robin Lord Taylor and Chris D’Elia would be starring beside Badgley.

The new season will loosely follow Kepnes’ follow up novel to You, called Hidden Bodies, which sees Joe starting anew with a big move from New York to Los Angeles and tries to blend in. In the latest teaser we get a look of Joe in his new environment. Always the cynic, Joe enters a coffee shop and is judgmental over the most trivial things. Despite clearly not being a fan of L.A., Joe is dedicated to starting fresh. So much so that he’s gone so far as to change his name to Will.

Season two starts streaming on December 26th. For now feast your eyes on the creepy new trailer below!

The second season follows Joe Goldberg, who upon taking a trip to Los Angeles, has his eyes and obsession set on aspiring chef, Love Quinn.
