We are just one short week away from the official release of Capcom’s Resident Evil 3 Remake and the new asymmetrical survival game Resident Evil Resistance. The demo may have fans excited, but the new trailer featuring main protagonist Jill Valentine is what is going to carry the hype right until release. The trailer opened with exciting news for fans of Resident Evil Resistance, announcing that Jill will be added as a playable survivor in a future update alongside the original playable characters.
The rest of the trailer focused heavily on Jill’s role in Resident Evil 3 Remake. She agrees to work alongside Carlos and the U.B.C.S. for the benefit of saving the people of Raccoon City. We get a glimpse at what could be two possible objectives in the game, returning power to the subway and saving a doctor from a hospital riddled with abominations. We also get a better look into the relationship between Jill and Carlos, and I am here for all of his cheesy suaveness.
Now no Resident Evil 3 Remake trailer is complete without an appearance from Nemesis and he is looking big, bad and better than ever. The trailer ends with Jill screaming out, “Do you have any idea what you’ve just done?”. Who is she talking to? What did they do? We need answers and we need to know that she is going to be okay!
Resident Evil 3 Remake will release on April 3, 2020 for PC through Steam, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
